ET-901 Redi-Chek Remote Wireless Meat & BBQ Thermometer with
Voice Alert consists of two separate units. The rain resistant
wireless sensor/transmitter has a stainless steel probe on a
36-inch wire. You place the transmitter in a location near the
oven or BBQ but away from direct heat. The receiver
simultaneously displays the set point and food temperatures.
It also has a countdown timer. You can use the timer and
temperature modes at the same time. This means that you can
monitor one food's cooking progress in the temperature mode
while using the timer mode to keep track of another cooking
task.
On the receiver, the
food and set point temperatures in your choice of °F or °C and timer
reading are all displayed simultaneously. The food temperature
digits are about 7/16 inch tall (the set point digits are about 1/4
inch). The timer digits are about 5/16 inch. The display is
backlight, so you can read it in the dark.
