For the seventh year in a row, UPS and its employees led the nation in supporting United Way's annual campaign. In the most recent campaign (2006), UPS and its employees contributed more than $59.3 million, an all-time record and the fourth consecutive year UPS exceeded $52 million in contributions. In 2002, UPS was the first company ever to donate more than $50 million in a single campaign to United Way.
UPS has twice won United Way's Spirit of America Award, United Way's highest national honor for corporate involvement and commitment to building better communities.
