Coffee Machine is one of the most feature-rich machines on the

BOSCH has combined convenience with taste through advanced
features. These include the exclusive AromaSwirl System for

protect against your coffee acquiring a metal taste, precise
temperature control for optimum flavor release, and a built-in
water filter that completely cleans the water for a pure coffee
taste.
Advanced features include programmable brewing options,
adjustable coffee strength, the ability to use pre-ground coffee
of your choice in addition to coffee beans (useful if you have
decaffeinated beans in the hopper, but want a regular
espresso/coffee), rapid switching between brewing and steaming
functions, an adjustable coffee grinder for fine tuning your
espresso/coffee, and an automated cleaning system.
Advanced Patented AromaSwirl Brewing System
The AromaSwirl System yields maximum flavor and aroma from the
brewing process. This special system combines freshly ground
coffee with water that is at the ideal temperature in a
pressurized brewing system. The coffee grounds are conditioned
(presoaked) in hot water for a few seconds, and then subjected
to high pressure during the computer controlled brewing cycle.
The result is coffee and espresso that has been brewed under
perfect conditions.
Automatic Espresso & Coffee Brewing – Easy To Operate
The Benevenuto B20 was designed so that anyone, regardless of
their experience could easily master the art of making great
coffeehouse drinks. When the coffee button is pressed, the
machine will grind just the right amount of coffee beans, place
the grounds into the brewing system, extract your coffee or
espresso, and clean up after itself in one complete step.
The designers kept in mind that all you want is great coffee
drinks and not a lot of fancy buttons and controls. There are
two control knobs and one coffee brew button to master in order
to make coffee drinks. It’s so easy! To brew coffee you simply
dial in the coffee drink you want and using the other dial you
select how strong your coffee selection will be.
Select from the following coffee drinks: Small espresso,
espresso, small coffee, coffee, large coffee, XXL coffee. You
may also brew a double of any of these drinks (2 espressos or 2
large coffees for example) by selecting that option on the
coffee drink selector!
Hot Water Dispenser & Instant Steam Feature
Turn on the steam knob, wait about 10 seconds, and you will have
all of the instant steam you want for cappuccinos or lattes. A
convenient frothing tip for creating milk froth comes with the
machine and delivers perfect foam every time for lattes or
cappuccinos, even if you have never foamed milk before! The
steam wand is located on the right-front of the machine and it
accommodates frothing pitchers up to 20 oz. If you need instant
hot water for making tea, hot cocoa, or Americanos, the hot
water feature is available at the turn of a dial.
Special Pre-Ground Coffee Funnel
This option allows you to pour pre-ground coffee into a funnel
that is accessed by lifting a small lid on top of the machine.
This feature is perfect when there is someone in the crowd who
wants a decaffeinated espresso and there are only caffeine
espresso beans in the machine, or if you wish to sample other
blends of coffee. After making a cup of coffee with the
pre-ground option, the machine automatically resets back to the
beans held in the machine. It’s all up to taster’s choice.
Information Display Screen
Unlike any machine in its class, the B20 has a information
screen that has12 backlit symbols on it that tells you
everything from what mode the machine is in to when the machine
needs to be cleaned, so there is no guessing on how to use the
machine.

Professional Quality Coffee
Grinder – Six Settings
Proper grinding is at the core of excellent coffee production. The Benevenuto
has a built-in, conical type burr grinder, the same type used by the
professionals. Pushing the brew button sets the cycle in motion with the grinder
measuring out the correct amount of beans for the selection made and then
grinding it to specifications.
Conical burr grinders are made up of a cone shaped grinding wheel that turns
slow enough not to burn the coffee beans, (a problem with low cost grinders).
The heavy-duty steel of the grinding wheel promotes a life of long service and
that’s strong enough to resist damage from the little stones that sometimes slip
in with the beans. This durable construction is consistent with top quality
machines and little or no maintenance or service is needed.
Built-in ½ Gallon Water Tank
The Benevenuto water reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the
machine or by removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the
kitchen tap. The reservoir is made of smoke color ABS plastic so checking the
water level is a breeze. When the water runs low, the digital display will
remind you when to refill it.
For Perfect Coffee Extraction - a Powerful Pump
Delivering a maximum pressure of 15 bars, this on board water pump pulls the
maximum flavor from the coffee beans.
Coffee Bean Storage Hopper & Internal Dump Box
Keeping ½ pounds of beans fresh and ready for grinding is the built in, lidded
coffee bean hopper. This large capacity allows up to 30 cups of coffee to be
prepared before refilling is needed. When the coffee grounds are spent, the
machine delivers them to the internal dump box; which can hold up to 15 expended
coffee portions. It’s easy to remove and clean.
Stainless Steel Boiler
The Benevenuto is special, as it is one of the very few fully automated coffee
centers in this price range that features a 1300 watt stainless steel lined
thermoblock boiler. Using stainless steel improves coffee flavor and greatly
increases the life span of the boiler.
Adjustable Beverage Dispensing Nozzle
This coffee dispensing nozzle moves up or down to accept cup sizes up to 4.25
inches high.
Heated Cup Stacking Surface
Located on the top of this machine is a heated surface made of non-stick metal
that allows you to stack up those espresso cups and keep them toasty.
Cleaning & Maintenance of Components
In order to keep the inside of your machine healthy, your machine must be
cleaned periodically. Scale buildup from naturally occurring minerals in your
water can build up on sensitive components like the inside of the boiler, which
left unchecked can cause considerable damage to the machine. By descaling your
machine every two-three months, your machine will last for many trouble-free
years. BOSCH espresso machine cleaner can be purchased from BOSCH or by calling
the support number in your user guide.
The machine will tell you when it’s time to activate the self-clean system by
displaying a message on the information screen. After adding the cleaner, just
press the clean button. The machine will take it from there. Descaling and
general cleaning is important even if you have a sophisticated water filter
system, and especially if you use well water.
Used coffee grounds are collected in the grounds dump box, which can hold up to
15 spent portions of coffee before emptying is required, and a message will
appear on screen to let you know it needs to be emptied. Waste water left over
from the rinsing cycles is stored in removable drip tray that simply pulls out
from the machine and reinsert is seconds. All components such as the used coffee
grounds container, drip tray, and water tank can be hand washed with regular
soap and water.
Installation & Accessories
Plug it in and the Benevenuto is ready to go. No fuss, no muss, no special
plumbing for water intake or discharge and no special electrical outlets are
required.
